TEHRAN - Ernie Brandts has been removed from his job as Rah Ahan football coach on Saturday due to poor results.

The 53 year-old Dutch coach had been appointed as Rah Ahan football coach in July 2009.
“We were going to have long-term cooperation with Brandts but things didn’t go as we had planned. We are sorry about that. We have negotiated with the team assistant Mehdi Tartar to take charge of the team,” Rah Ahan General Manager Mohammad Hassan Ansarifard said.
Rah Ahan sits 16th with 18 points in the Iranian Professional League
